The main advantage of having thin client at home is that thin clients will back up all of your data so in case of any event the data will be able to be restored to the standard desktops. Also with a thin client network the user will be able to access for mobile. thin clients has no local storage which means that there will be no longer local hard disks to crash.

Thin client networks are reliable for military bases, thin clients are affordable easy to manage and protects data from thefts. Also if the data was stolen the data will still be stored on the server. Military bases are able to swipe a smart card or log in and they are able to access web applications. The military bases will no longer need to employees to lock their computers hard drive.

Thin client have smaller parts and require fewer parts, which reduces the amount of hazardous material that ends up in landfills. Thin client networks use 24% less energy than a Fat client, this means that thin client networks have a longer life span.
