  • Blind Man's Bluff is a game for both children and adults
  • but mostly played by children
  • you start off blindfolding someone
  • then you have them try to find the other players
  • almost like Marco Polo

  • Maw a very common game in Scotland began in 1551
  • the game involves two to ten players and the object of the game is to win either three or five points depending on how many players
  • the winner takes all the money in the pot.

  • One and thirty is the ancestor to modern day Blackjack.
  • You start off with having at least two players
  • Each player having three cards face down.
  • Each player picks up a cars and if it matches the suit they can keep it but have to put a card in there hand down on the pile.
  • When you get close to 31 you can knocks twice on the table after you knock the other players get one last turn then everybody's hands are shown and the person who is the closest to 31 wins.

  • Chess was the most popular board game and was played by mainly the upper and middle classes because all the pieces were made by hand which was expensive.
  • Shakespeare also included it in some of his plays which made it more popular.
  • It has the same rules and same setup as it does today.
  • Backgammon at the time it was known as tables.
  • It is the oldest board game in the world dating back to the Egyptians.
  • The game has two players, and the game board has twenty-four long triangles called points. The triangles alternate in color and are grouped into four groups of six triangles.
  • During your turn you would shake dice and each die rolled represents one movement of one piece.

  • Marbles is played by putting them in a circle made of chalk
  • Marbles where made of either glass or wood
  • use the larger marble to shoot the other marbles out of the circle
  • Whoever got the most marbles out at the end wins.
