What was the act of 1965?
- A act to enforce the 14th amendment.
- Many discriminatory parties in the south prevented African American people to vote.
- One was because of woman not having voting rights.
- She may have had friends/ relatives that are African American.
- At this time there where very few parties that where for black peoples rights, and she may have been in one of those groups.
