Royals

Royals are Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Aces. If a royal is played, the next person must play as follows:Jack-1 card, Queen-2 cards, King-3 cards, and Ace-4 cards. If they do not play another royal or the deck is not slapped, whoever played the royal gets the cards. If they do play another royal or the deck is slapped, the game goes on and the next person plays according to the new royal.

Doubles, Sandwiches, and Top-Bottom

Winning

Double- When two cards of the same number are played in a row.

Sandwich- When there are two cards of the same number and only one card in between.

Top-Bottom-When the card that is played is the same number as the card on the bottom.

The winner is whoever ends up with all the cards. If there is still more than one person with cards in their hand, the game is not over and those who have lost all of their cards can still slap back in.

Slapping the Cards

The First Plays

Set-Up

The first player takes a card off the top of their deck and places it face up in the middle of the table. The next person does the same, as do the third, fourth and so on.

The goal is to have the whole deck. Players earn cards by being the first to slap the cards in the middle if there is a double, a sandwich, or a top-bottom. If someone slaps the deck and there is no reason to, they must then place a card at the bottom. If someone runs out of cards, they can still slap back in.

Shuffle the cards and deal the whole deck. Do not look at your cards. There can be between two and fifty-two players.(There are only fifty-two cards in a deck.)
