It borders on the east by the Aegean Sea the west by the Ionian Sea and south of the Mediterranean Sea. Greece has a lot of islands (approximately 2,500 of which 165 are inhabited) The population is around 11.000.000.

It has a long and rich history which brought great cultural influence on three continents.
