FINDING THEIR LAND ?

The European

Explorers brought deadly

diseases such as small pox,

which killed quite a few aboriginals as their immune system and body weren't used

to the Europeans, as were the Europeans not used to the aboriginals.

by, joshua, sarah , shia, & kevin!

At first, The when the french came to north America the first nations were not so sure and a little bit frightened, but later on as the french started trading with them they got used to each other.

How did the relationship change over time?

The fur trade is one of the relationships between the French and the first nations. When the Europeans came to North America the first nations wanted to trade with them. The French would give them tools like knifes or axes and in return the first nations would give them fur, knowledge, and skills. The French needed knowledge and skills to survive in the new world (North America).
