This is chart is at the back of Bylaw 16 in your copy of the NCAA manual
Just like the other 2 charts, this is also at the back of Bylaw 16 of your copy of the NCAA Manual.
Just call it, "A reason to open the book OTHER than taking the recruiting exam!"

Transfer of Nonpermissible Award
Uniformity of Awards
An impermissible award may not be forwarded to a different agency/individual in a student-athlete's name
All awards given to student-athletes must be uniform for all team members
We must assign the NORMAL RETAIL COST
- We can get a discount to save UA money
- We cannot apply the discounted cost to the awards
- "Normal Retail Cost" is defined as the cost at which any individual in the general public would secure the item.
Student-athletes cannot contribute to their own awards
We may not purchase an item which exceeds the awards limit, pay the amount up to the award limit, and have the student-athlete make up the difference.
No supplementary purchase arrangements
- An agreement with a supplier dictating a discount be given on an award item because the institution purchases additional items to help cover costs.
We cannot combine values
- Award limits from 2 different categories cannot be combined in order to purchase one extravagent award.
- For example, we cannot order a conference championship ring for $550 and call it our Participation AND Championship award.
