When to keep your student home

  • What type of sickness needs to be kept out of the classroom?

If your child has a fever they should stay home! They should remain home until they have been fever free for 24 hours. If your child has thrown up in the past 24 hours they should stay home.

  • Preventing your child from getting sick.

Have your child wash their hands frequently! Times when they should wash their hands include; after going to the bathroom and after playing outside. Encourage your child to use tissues when their nose is itchy/runny and to cough/sneeze into their elbow.
