First Half of School Schedule
We would love for anyone of our students' family members to volunteer in whatever way they can!
If you are interested please send an email letting us know what you would like to volunteer for or sign up on the volunteer board we keep in the classroom!
We will keep families updated on upcoming units of study and field trips so you can sign up in advance for whatever may interest you!
If your child has a fever they should stay home! They should remain home until they have been fever free for 24 hours. If your child has thrown up in the past 24 hours they should stay home.
Have your child wash their hands frequently! Times when they should wash their hands include; after going to the bathroom and after playing outside. Encourage your child to use tissues when their nose is itchy/runny and to cough/sneeze into their elbow.
Expected field trips for the year:
-Farmers Market (September 22nd)
-Fire Station (November 7th)
-Snow Day Adventure (January 30th)
-Clean the park day. (May 15th)
Permission Slips will be sent home two-three weeks prior to the field trip. Alternate arrangements will be made for those students who do not return a signed permission slip. If you would like to chaperone one of our field trips please email me!
-Hours of homework expected (if any) each night.
Students will have one hour tops for homework each night.
-Late Policy
If parents email excuses for not doing homework to the teacher, no credit will be taken away for the assignments. If no contact about the missing homework has been made, students will lose a point per every three days.
