My final item that represents me would have to be my phone. I'm sure everyone would say this, out of the fact that technology has made up a huge part of modern cultur. However, to me I use my phone every day and it really is one of the few things that would always have and use. Whether I use it to research information, or use as a form of contact without It don't think I would have the same contact. without one my parents could be wondering where I am or not be able to stay in touch with friends over long holidays. So to me in a sense, my phone has given me, the ability to have a freedom with my movement and contact with friends/family.
Crayons and pencils could represent me for going to school and writing down paragrapghs ans stories. However that is a very mundane explaination, while it is correct that they repsent me for going to school. To me pencisla an crayons represent my passion for drawing and sketching. Even though I am not very public with my art or drawings. Drawing is a favortie hobby of mine. I like to sit down and draw something from my mind and make it real. To me drawing is very personal to my idenity
One of my more unusual items that can be used to represent my identity/culture could be, a set of books I have titled wonder why and wonder how. When I originally recieved them I never thought I would use them. Because why would I want to know things that don't apply to my everyday life. However as I got older I got to enjoy the value of the books, and what they represented to me. They helped me discover that I actaully enjoyed learning new things.
I myself am not the biggest gamer. I dont own very many gaming systems or games and I dont play with my DS as often as I use too. However when when I was a kid one of my favorite toys was my nintendo DS on it I could race cars, go on adventues and play many other games that to me were very fun. So my DS made up a large part of how I would entertain myself.
One of my favorite subjects is geography since I know a lot about different countries. I am always interested in learning about other cultures, and where thier country is located. I own a globe since I was in elementary school, and for some reason I always liked to look at and study it.I liked to see where countries were and what the capital was. As I got older I used my fascination towards learning more about outside cultures and countries, so and this makes up a large part of my identity.
Back when I was in the third grade, I had gotten my first music player. It was a large CDplayer that I had used to play audiobooks and my favorite songs at the time. At first I was unsure if I would use it. However even when I was very young I loved to listen to music because it had made me feel happy and more energetic. I ended up using the machine a lot more, then I expected and I defaintly used it to death. Since then music still impacts my life on an everyday basis.
These represent me because ever since I was young, I had always wanted to bring back something that represented the trip. So the solution was that I buy keychains. they are really cheap and small to carry, so I don't have to worry about them taking up room. However they still provide a chance for me to reflect on the trip I had, other then looking at photographs.
