- Circulator will draw up the thrombin and squirt on to the sterile field in a small bowl on the sterile field.
- Tech will draw up the thrombin in the supplied 4ml syringe.
- Attach the thrombin filled syringe to the Floseal mix syringe and push the contents back and forth for at least a minute, or 20 passes.

How Its Used
Once the Floseal is applied to the bleeding site, it is left for 2 minutes with a damp sponge over it. Once the 2 minutes is up, the site is gentle irrigated to remove extra that was not used to assist with the clotting.
