On December 4, 1911, the Blanck and Harris trials begin, however, on December 27, 1911, the trials conclude that Blanck and Harris were not guilty. The reason why was because Max Steuer cast doubt on the validity of the witnesses accounts according to Cornell University.
On April 2, 1911, the National Women's Trade Union organized a protest at Metropolitan Opera House to protest against unsafe working conditions and shorter working hours.
On April 5, 1911, the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union (ILGWN) held a funeral parade, honoring the workers that had died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire. 120000 people marched down the streets while 300000 people watched the parade on that cold, rainy day.
On April 11, 1911, Blanck and Harris were indicted and charges with six counts of manslaughter for 2 of the 146 people who died in the fire according to Cornell University.
On June 30, 1999, in response to the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, the New York State Legislature established the FIC or Factory Investigation Commission. The FIC sends out investigators to factories to investigate the safety measures provided and the working condition.

There is no information about what exactly happened that caused the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, however, some sources say that the fire was caused by a cigarette and other sources say that the fire started in a rag bin. But there is one thing that is true. The fire started on the 8th floor of the Asch Building.
