Hero: A person who goes above and beyond to help society. A role model to all. Someone who is willing to risk their lives to save others.
Superhero: Similar to hero, but what differentiates them is a superhero is seen as someone with powers/abilities not normally possessed by normal humans.
Similar or Different? - In a way heroes and superheroes are the same. What puts them apart would be (as described above) that superheroes have abilities no normal person would have that allows them to protect others in way a
normal hero can't
- Laurie feels anger, suspicious and overall scared of him
- Rorschach seems to accept him.
- Sally Jupiter over time, forgives him for what he has done.
- Is he truly heroic? In our opinion he seems to be doing these actions for himself not for society as a whole. He has no real hope for humanity as he thinks they're savages.
- Seems to have more villainous qualities
rather than heroic ones.
- Heroes are meant to help others but he is in
it more to help himself.
