Hero or Villain?

Cleopatra was a hero because the good she accomplished outweighs all of the negative that she caused. For example, Cleopatra's reign brought peace and prosperity to a previously bankrupt Egypt along with stabilizing the country. Even though she had to kill her siblings for the throne, it worked out much better for the country in the long run. She was also the only person in the Ptolemaic Dynasty to speak Egyptian, which shows that she is a ruler who cares about her people as she made an effort to communicate with her subjects unlike the others in her family. While she may have done some bad things, such as having affairs and being part of affairs, the good clearly outweighs the bad in this situation.
