One tradition the Dinka tribe has is (Parapool). Parapool means a boy is no longer mendering the cattle and carting dung. It requires male adults using a very sharp knife on small children, making deep cuts that they use for making decorative marks on their foreheads. These cuts become permanent.
The Dinka Tribe do their own personal decorations on their bodies. They rub their bodies with oil from boiled butter. Dinka men dye their hair red with cow's urine and the women's shave their eyebrows and their hair but they leave a knot of hair on top of their heads.
The Dinka people use cattle for many reasons. They eat meat when they sacrifice the cattle or if it is dying. They also use the cattle's urine to dye there hair and showers. Furthermore, their excrement is used for fuel to make fire at night. After they burn the wood from the fire, they use the ashes from the fire to make a certain toothpaste and to keep cattle clean. The other thing they need from the cattle is milk and ghee. Ghee is a semi fluid that counts as a butter.
*Ghee is a clarified butter with milk fat rendered from butter to separate the milk solids and water from the butterfat.
