Buker sacrificed himself as he was going through enemy fire and destroyed the bases and died in the process. Buker showed Patriotism because he kept fighting for his country even when he was injured.

Buker was under attack with his platoon. He destroyed the first enemy bunker with hand grenades. Even after being injured he didn't want to receive medical help and still charged for the second bunker while wounded.
