Created in 3rd-2nd Centuries. It did not say who it was made for. The materials it was made out of were solid-gold wire. This piece is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art now. There is really no way of telling who has this piece over the years. This piece can tell us a lot about the time period, for one it shows that they did not have a lot of material but they were very detailed in their work.
The piece was created in modern day 2013. It is made for special events for people that want to add something new to their look. There is not really much history to this piece since it was made in 2013.

It was handmade with solid-gold wire. The artist used color to make it pop and make the important features be seen and have meaning to them. The forms in the piece were realistic because you could see the flowers and leaves. Most of the Greeks believed the Herakles knots could cure wounds. Flowers and leaves are being depicted in the piece. The symbols in this piece is six gold blossoms and a whorl of leaves. It does not not tell you the meaning.
The Jewelry of modern day are not handmade. Like this piece some of the jewelry today does not have color in them and are just silver or gold, but many different types of jewelry do have color. This piece is pretty realistic with the leaves and branches. In modern day jewlery there is not much meaning to them anymore, they are just to look good in.

Ancient Greek and Modern Day jewelry are very similar and very different at the same time. Ancient Greek Jewelry had a lot of detail and meaning to them. Modern day can be very simple and has no meaning to them when they are created, they are to accessorize mainly for special events. Jewelry was more unique in the Ancient Greek times than Modern Day.
