The loyal retainer- he takes orders from Master Shifu and does what Shifu instructs him to do.

Mentor- Shifu is the one who gives knowledge to his students.

The Wise Old Man- Grand Master Oogway offers guidance, is distinguished for his wise wisdom, and also a kind spiritual adviser.

Po's quest was to protect the valley of peace and fulfill his duties as the dragon warrior.

The Hunting Party/Inner Circle/Boon Companions- At first the Furious Five did not like Po but as Po defeated Tai Lung, the five respected him greatly.

Po and Tai Lung rallied over the dragon scroll. When Tai Lung finally got the scroll and opened it, he did not understand what the meaning behind the reflection was. Po was the victor in this battle.

Hero- Po is the protagonist, and he starts from ignorance and realizes his potential.

Po gets chosen as the dragon warrior and is thrown into the life of Kung-Fu. He start out from a smaller part of the town in the valley to the Jade Palace.

Loss of Innocence

As Shifu is running out of time to train and denies Po as the dragon warrior, Shifu trains him and slowly starts to accept him as his student and the dragon warrior.

The task is to defeat Tai Lung.

When Grand Master Oogway was choosing a dragon warrior at this ritual, Po fell out of the sky and was chosen as the next dragon warrior when he awoke.

The Outcast- Tai Lung broke society's rules and laid waste to the land therefore he was put out and kept in Chorh Gom prison.

When Po realized what the scroll meant after hearing his father's secret ingredient to the secret soup, he lost his innocence and became more mature in gaining a different insight that Grand Master Oogway created.

Call to Action

When Po saw that the Jade Palace was picking the next dragon warrior, he rushed to go to the palace. When he got there he ended up being chosen as the next dragon warior.

The pool represents purity.

When Shifu thinks Po is ready for the dragon scroll, Po and the furious five are very excited. However, the scroll was blank and it did not give Po any special powers therefore the furious five and Po leaving Jade Palace to escort the villagers out of the valley.

Praying Mantis

Mantis represents mindful movements in which when Po first entered the training grounds of the Palace, he saw Mantis precisely moving through the obstacle with exact movements.

The black and white of Po represent the balance between knowledge(black) and ignorance(white).

Tigress represents physical strength and you can see it in the way she performs when she wants to become the dragon warrior and also when she was fighting with Tai Lung.

The sacred peach tree of heavenly wisdom in which Po went to when he was upset with the treatment of the furious five and Master Shifu, represented enduring strength and wisdom in which Po needed at the time.

Monkey is known for his playful attitude and that is what monkeys represent.
