All in all, no Christianity wouldn't make the world how it is, there would less religion based fights like terrorism, but there would be more creations and objectives to find and complete. There are the positives, but there are also the negatives. So in conclusion, it's a 50/50 thing.
Without Christianity, the dark ages for Europe would of never happened, Galileo would of not had a charge with heresy for writing that the Earth orbits the Sun and Spain would of staid under the Moorish rule. These are just some of the negative things that would of not happened without Christianity.
Science and technology would simply not be the same without Christianity. This is because in the 13th century, a French bishop called Robert Grossetste was a chancellor at the Oxford University proposed an inductive for experimental method on science. At this time, this wasn't really accepeted because everyone believed in God and everything was made by God, but he had a detirmination to change that, and that's what he did. He has now had an influence on all inventions and creations to date. So as you can see, Christianity has influenced all creations and some things would of not been created without Christianity.
Imagine a world without Christianity, there would be no freedom for women, there would most likely still be slavery, racism, medical health care e.t.c. As you can see, Christianity reunites the world and we need Christianity to survive as a race.
The creation of a Church was possibly one of the best ideas ever because it has spurred on to things like hospitals, universities, civil liberties and also high regard for the human kind. Therefore meaning that services would not be as good without Christianity.
