  • In the end Odysseus finally manages to make it back home to his family and take his rightful position as king of Ithaca.
  • He murders all the suitors and reveals himself to Penelope In a way that shows there unconditional love for each other
  • Odysseus endangers the lives of literally all of his shipmates and really concentrates on gaining pride and honor for himself, but in the end he really shows he cares about the people he truly loves. Odysseus' tragic flaw is not loving everyone around him and concentrating more on his own self pride.

Resolution

  • However coming home Odysseus finds all is not well. Suitors have been pursuing his wife.
