- NGN = New School of Nuremberg

- was founded in 1889

- second humanistic school in Nuremberg --> NEW School of Nuremberg

- pupils could learn latin and greek --> the two main languages

- school building was next to the mainrailway station

- after the second world war : it moved to weddigenstreet 21 where it is until now

- 1966: the NGN started to teach new languages (english, french, spanish)
