Regarded as "The descendant of the heavenly king/emperor". A king was usually succeeded by their own brother.

His (The King's) Official Subjects

Had the power to control religion and military. Religion was important during the Shang kingdom, where the Shang king are usually had his own policies "fortuned-telled" by the shaman

Peasants

Composed of the royal clan which contributed towards the Shang Dynasty. Help the Shang king rule China.
