Loan Period Policies

1. Students have the privilege of borrowing two (2) books only.

BOOK TYPE LOAN PERIOD RENEWAL

Fiction 1 week Renewable once

Non - Fiction 2 days Renewable twice

Biographies 3 days Renewable once

2. Books with overdue fines cannot be renewed

3. Books that are reserved by other students cannot be renewed.

Overdue fine is subject to change without prior notice *

4. If the patron found the book after being declared or reported lost and returns it, and if the book is in acceptable condition, the patron will be required to pay only the accumulated overdue fine.

1. Present the book/s that you will borrow together with your ID in the circulation desk

1. Just present your book/s to be returned, together with your ID in the circulation desk.

2. For delinquent borrowers, fines will be imposed. See Circulation Policy for overdue fines.

2. The book/s will be processed by a library staff.

5. Lost book should be replaced within a week after it has been reported lost. Processing fee of Fifty Pesos (Php 50.00) will be added to the cost.

THINGS TO REMEMBER . . . .

GENTLE REMINDERS WHEN USING A BOOK

1. If an item is lost, the library should be notified immediately. Overdue fines continue to be assessed until notification is received.

1. Search for the item through the Automated Catalog

2. Copy the call number

3. Look for the shelf where the item is located

4. Look on the spine of the books and find the book with the same call number.

1. Don't handle library books with dirty hands

2. Don't get the books wet!

3. Handle with care

4. Be gentle when turning pages. Don't tear the pages

5. Don't fold the pages, instead use a bookmark

6. DO NOT write/mark in library books

> Treat the books and materials inside the library with care and respect

> Return the materials in their proper place

> Push back your chair after you use.

> If you have nothing to do in the library, you may leave the room

2. All library patrons, including faculty members are responsible for the replacement of the lost items plus the accumulated overdue fines.
