Biology, School, Home, and Community all can influence a behavior disorder

BIOLOGY: There is a relationship between prenatal drug exposure and childhood emotional and behavior disorders (53% in headstart programs)

SCHOOL: If the teacher is unskilled in managing a classroom it can lead to aggression and frustration in the child

HOME/COMMUNITY: Poverty, abuse, neglect, parental stress, inconsistent expectations and rules, confusion, and turmoil combined over long periods of time can lead to problems
