Elijah Of Buxton
- Elijah promises that he will take care good of her and took her home
- Elijah heads back to Buxton with the baby named Hope(also known as Too-Mah-ee-Nee)

- Elijah sneaks out with the Preacher to a carnival to try to help the community. The Preacher almost tricks Elijah to be apart of the carnival but he changes his mind.
The genre of my book is historical fiction.
Falling Action
Climax
- Mrs. Holton receives a letter that was very sad.
- Mr. Leroy and Elijah make a sign for Mrs. Holton. She was so thankful she gave Mr. Leroy a load of cash to free his family out of slavery.
- Unfortunately Something bad happend to Mr. Leroy so Elijah promises him to find The preacher and get the money back, so Elijah is on his own now.
- Mr. Leroy wanted to free his family right away so he he trusted the The preacher to go to Michigan, Mr. Highgate went with him to hire somebody to free Mr. Leroy's family.
- Elijah goes into a stable and finds the Preacher dead in there with 6 slaves.
- Elijah helps the slaves without waking up the guard and Elijah starts talking to one woman the rest were people who didn't speak English or was just a baby.
- Mr. Highgate comes back to Buxton shot, he tells Elijah, Mr. Leroy, And Elijah's dad that the preacher shot him and stole the money to gamble.
- Elijah tries to save them but is unsuccessful
- Mr. Leroy convinces Elijah to come with him and try to get his money back and kill the Preacher.
- Elijah gets real close to the woman and he tells her how his mom lost a daughter so he asks her to take her baby so that she could be free.

Mr.Leroy: Angry, Aggressive, and Sad.
Exposition
The Preacher: Selfish, Sneaky, Strange, and mysterious.
Cooter( Elijah's bestfriend): Friendly, and foolish.
Even year-old Elijah is the first child to be born into freedom in Buxton, Canada,a settlement of runaway slaves just over the border from Detroit.
Mrs. Holton: Friendly, and loving.
Elijah's mom and dad(also known as Ma and Pa):Clever,and friendly.
