The god of Islam is Allah.

There is only one God. Allah has 99 names including The Gracious, The Merciful, The King, The Most Holy, The All Peaceful, The Granter of Security, The Protector, The Mighty, The Majestic, The Creator and The Light

Names of God in different religions

Hinduism

Shiva, the destroyer, is the main Hindu God. However, there are over 330 million different gods and goddesses in Hinduism. Some of them are Brahama, the creator, Vishnu, the Preserver, Ganapati, the Mover of Obstacles, Avatars of Vishnu, Rama, Krisha, Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning, Lakshmi, Indra, the King of Heaven and lord of Gods.

Christianity

The Father, Ancient of Days, Messiah, The Lord

In Christianity the only person in the Trinity who is given a distinct name is Jesus, the son of God. Neither the Father or Holy Spirit are given personal names.

Sikhism

Akal Murat or the Timeless One

Sat Nam, Akal Purakh, Waheguru

Sat Nam means eternal reality

Akal Purakh means the eternal one

Waheguru means the wonderful lord

Sikhs believe that there is only one God but that is is the God of all religions.

Buddhism

In Buddhism there is no God, but there is Buddha.

Buddha isn't a god. He is a being who tries to gain peace and calm with the earth. There is no personal god. Buddha is not a supreme being in the way way that God is in Christianity.

Judaism

In Hebrew, God is called Yahweh but in English God is called Jehovah. His name is written as JHWH which means the Lord.

Orthodox Jews use the name HaShem which means the Name,

He is often described as Elohim which means God, also Adonai which is used to refer to the pagan gods.
