How we rely on rainforests for this matter:

Amazon Rainforest

- Biodiversity, food, industrial products and Indigenous people need rainforests.

- Almost half of the rainforests on Earht has been destroyed.

- 32 million acres are being cleared each year.

Why the reason is important:

- One of the most famous rainforest in the world.

- It stretches over 5 countries in South America.

- Provides many types of resources.

- There are so many more herbs that have not been discovered, but deforestation needs stop in order for them to be found.

- Rainforests are pretty much being destroyed its wood.

- Produces pain relievers and cures.

- If they disappear, scientists will have to discover something new in order to make medicine.

- Without medicine, the world's population will decrease.

What the reason is:

- Rainforests are a source for creating medicine.

- Almost 7000 plants produce medicine.

- Treats very dangerous illnesses and diseases.

Introduction

- Rainforests, Earth's greatest resource are being destroyed.

- %14 of land used to be covered by rainforests.

- In 40 years time, rainforests could completely disappear.
