Animal Cell
The first thing that you will come upon when entering the Krusty Krab is the top security entrance and wall surrounding the restaurant. The surrounding glass is double-paned to add extra insulation and ward off any unwanted chemicals from seeping in. The outer frame is very strong and is supported to prevent even the most unusual of conditions.
Meet and Greet: Officer John
Another way to ensure the restaurant's safety are the gaurds that we have stationed at every entrance. These guards only let certain people pass through. You will be let in as long as you are not a criminal, such as Plankton. Just show your proof of ID and you will surely enter without difficulty. This is selective permeability at its finest!

The front entrance is the most heavily guarded. If the doors are locked, the only way to enter is with a Krusty Krab key. This key, and only this key, fits perfectly inside the keyhole, which changes shape to allow the key to enter, and carries people in.
The Kitchen
RNA- Recipe's Necessary Archive- the Secret Formula
The top secret formula is highly guarded by a safe, the nucleolus. The secret formula RNA has the instructions on how to make Krabby Patty proteins. Only the managers have access to the secret formula in the nucleolus safe.
While on your tour, you are not permitted to enter or view the safe. It is guarded around the clock by numerous guards.
The Managers' Office
The managers' office is where all the decisions are made regarding the actions of the restaurant, such as if more patties need to be made, if more supply shipments need to come in, or if the restaurant is too full and it cannot take in any more customers.
The office is encompassed by a nuclear envelope, which protects the office with soundproof and bulletproof walls.
It is a good thing that the office is very protected because it holds valuable information that must not be disclosed. The information is securely held in filing cabinets called chromosomes to condense all of the documents, or chromatin. Without these chromosomes, the chromatin would be spread out everywhere; what a mess! The filing cabinets at the Krusty Krab are premium and do there job very well. Amazing!
Also located in the nucleus office is the secret formula.
Make sure to get your picture taken in the office where brilliant ideas are made.

The Food Vault/Vacuole
Located in the back we have the famous Patty Vault! In the Patty vault we store the extra Krabby Pattys that Spongebob, the over achiever, makes.

It's always good to stock up in case of emergencies!
Krabby Patty Ribosomes make Protein!
You must visit the patty vault on your tour! It is a crowd favorite. Remember, no smuggling or stealing.
The Mitochondrion Grill
Dont forget to BUY a krabby patty on your way out!
The famous Krusty Krabs burgers are grilled and seasoned to perfection on the magnificent Mitochondrion Grill which generates yummy ATP into the burgers!
Unlike other grills, the mitochondria grill takes in the juices and nutrients that come off of the burger when being cooked and converts it to delicious ATP energy.

Lysol-Sprayed Restrooms
and Cleaning Services
Even the restrooms are fun to visit!
During your visit at the Krusty Krab, we offer a squeaky clean atmosphere throughout the entire restaurant.
It is mandatory that all restrooms are checked
by our hospitable maid every 20 minutes.
Spongebob himself makes sure to wipe off and clear all tables as necessary, mop the floors, clean the dishes, and take out the trash.
In our restrooms, waste products are removed from the restaurant. Some of it is even recycled for the next Krabby Patty! Talk about eco-friendly food service!

Golgi Apparatus Packaging and Delivery
The Golgi Apparatus is the warehouse for all deliveries. The Krusty Krab specifically delivers outside the cell restaurant.
In the warehouse, the Krabby Patty protein products are sorted into their customers' orders and packaged nicely in cardboard boxes. They are then transported in vesicles through and outside the restaurant. The vesicles are completely reliable to safely deliver their products.
It's not just a vehicle...
it's a vesicle! The pioneers used to use these babies to transport all their proteins!
Our delivery system also has the option to deliver your souvenirs from the ER gift shop to your home because the vesicles have the ability to connect to the ER shop.
If you have time on your tour, join us for a vesicle ride, and you will want a vesicle of your own!

Endoplasmic Reticulum Souvenir Shop
As you end your day at the Krusty Krab, be sure to visit the gift shop before you leave. Some parts of the shop sell patty proteins, special Krabby Patties. But be warned, these parts of the shop can be gross and rough.
The smooth portions of the ER shop are like a warehouse that store the other toys and goodies. These souvenirs are rare collectibles that will surely remind you of your stay!
Don't forget that your souvenirs can be wrapped and transported right here from the ER shop by the Golgi Apparatus Delivery and Packaging Center (GADAP).
Produced right here in the restaurant and prepackaged, ready for you to take them home.
