About Us
In accordance with Jainist vallues, our business practices safe treatment of each and every cow we own. We give our cows substantial living space and allow them to freezly graze our large pastures. We do not inject our cows with bovine growth hormone (rBGH) or any other type of hormone. All our cows, who we consider extended family, have names and are treated with the respect that every living thing deserves. Although we adhere to all Jain values, we welcome people of all corners of the earth to enjoy our dairy products.

The Jain Way
The Dairy Jain Company was created in 1921 by siblings named Ellan, Topher, and Curry. They were originally born in Mumbai, India and lived in a strict Jain community, where non-violence was one of the highest priorities. The siblings immigrated together to Ellis Island and settled in New York City. The dairy industry was booming, but in ways that did not fulfill Jainist values. Thus, the innovative siblings decided to create their own company. The company boomed and became very successful. Unfortunately in 1932, all three siblings were diagnosed with typhus and died within the year. The company has been passed down to us, Ella, Chris, and Corey, the grandchildren of the original founders.
