This rebellion was not able to occur because Vesey was arrested on May 30. Unfortunaly for the rebels, Vesey could not communicate his change of date to thousands of slaves.
Whithin this revolt Vesey planned an inserruction that involved free and enslaved black from around Charleston. This revolt was raised from the city's suppression of the African Church.

The goals for Denmark Vesey rebellion was to get a rise out of the masters and he teared down their churches so they got very angry at him, also they decided to revolt. Another thing is that the slaves got tired of the way that they was getting treated because their churches got burned down by the white people.

Vesey began to plan a slave rebellion after the crossing of the African Church.
He wanted it to take place on Batille Day, July 14, 1822.
It became known by thousands or blacks throughout Charleston and along the Carolina Coast.

The rebellion was not successful because when Vesey was captured happens that the African church was burned down and authorities passed a series of laws further restricting the rights of Charleston slaves. Vesey became a strike for African Americans and a symbol for the abolitionist movement, while the increasingly militant politics of white American dragged the country toward Civil War. Basically all the work that Vesey and his people were doing go down after that.

This rebellion started a few year ago with a purpose to abolish the slavery. One of the fact that is important in here is that Black people are not scared to those who do not base their beliefs of others in stereotyping and racism. If someone is scared to another, it is usually because of the person's action and not their color; that is, unless they do, in fact, stereotype others based on race. which is very interesting that a person like Vesey had a movement to remove theirs abuses for the slaves around Charleston
