Before
Before Salvino D'Armate's improvement, there were not any "wearable" glasses. The improved vision inventions consisted of reading stones, monocles, etc., but nothing that was kept on the face without having to hold it up. Although his invention was considered a "balancing" act because he was not the one to invent the sides that wrap around the ear, his improvement was a huge step forward. He made it easier for people to see all the time even when doing things that involved their hands. It was very beneficial and helpful to people struggling with bad vision and wanted to achieve other active things while being able to see as well.
After
Thesis: The invention of Improved Vision is the most effective invention in the passed 2000 years.
Salvino D'Armate's contribution to the invention of improved vision helped support my original thesis statement in many ways. One way it helped support my thesis that this invention was truly the most efficient invention in the passed 2000 years because without his help, people would not be capable of activities and accomplishments that they are able to do now because of wearable glasses. He helped make improving vision much easier for the lives of many people who needed improved vision and also the use of their hands to accomplish their job, sport, hobby, chores, etc.
Before Salvino D’Armate’s invention of the first wearable glasses, there were other “less comfortable” options. There was first, the reading stone. After a while this invention improved into other developments such as inventions that were similar to the wearable glasses. There were glasses that was known more so as a “balancing act” for they did not have anything to hold them in place. Therefore, Salvino D’Armate wanted to invent something easier, more comfortable, that would make improving your vision less of a hassle. He knew that people would love to not have to balance a contraption on their nose in order to see clearly, and that this invention would significantly help the lives of many. He found the major problem and proceeded to fix it, and now he is credited for one of the most important inventions of all time.
