This is where you look at how you felt during the experience, or after the experience.

Who is David Boud?

Reflection is "a conscious activity in which we engage to explain our experiences and develop new understandings conceptualisations"

Boud (1987)

Boud is an Australian professor based at the University of Technology, Sydney.

He is interested in how people learn and what can be done to foster their learning, and because of this he has examined many practices and processes.

After his examinations, he has developed models of learning from experience and the role of reflection in learning.
