The End!
Thank you for bearing with me the entire presentation. Goodbye!
This type of boundary is when 2 different plates move AWAY from each other and form a rift valley
Earthquakes ares caused by the sudden movement of plate tectonics. At sliding boundaries, it may cause a strike slip fault Also, at convergent boundaries a normal fault can form when a Foot wall and a Hanging wall collide.
Colliding boundaries are when two plate tectonics collide with each other. One of three things may happen when they collide.
1. O/O this happens when 2 ocean plates collide. Which ever is denser will sink down
2. C/O in this case and oceanic plate and continental plate collide. The oceanic plate will sink below the other.
3. C/C in this case the 2 continental plates collide in this case, neither will go down and they will form a mountain range
Sliding boundaries are when 2 tectonic plates grind together in opposite directions. Some times they may create a strike-slip fault.
There are different types of boundaries. There are 3 types
Colliding
