Early life
May Swenson was born Anna Thilda. May Swenson was born in Logan, Utah in May 28, 1913. She was never married. She lived in Utah. She attended Utah State University in Logan and got a Bachelor's degree in 1934.
Mid life
Her life she was only a poet. Her first book was another animal. Some best sellers are- A cage of Spines, To Mix with Time, Half Sun Half Sheep, and May Out West. Some Awards are- Longview Foundation Award, Shelly Poetry Award, and National Institute of Arts and Letters.
End of Her life
She died in Oceanview, Delaware, in 1989.
