Abraham Darby used to study brass that led the industry more advanced and that helped Great Britain export brass goods. Darby invented coke smelting that helped the quality of the cast iron and lowered production costs. Coke smelting was eventually replaced charcoal with coal in a time where factories were producing and refining metal.
