Step 1:

Start sketching an eye and use a refrence photo.

Use a dark colour and go over your sketch.

Step 3:

Using the same colour darken the shadows of the eye.

Step 4:

Add another layer with a colour and leave room for highlights.

Step 5:

Add more colour in the highlights.

Use a colour to blend all colours together.

step 6:

Go back in with your original dark colour to add depth.
