Who is Katie Walker?

The "Ribbon Rocking Chair" is one of Katie Walker's most famous works. It has won awards like the Wesley Barrell Craft Award and both the Wood Awards Furniture and Innovation Awards in 2006. The chair is 790mm wide, 1130mm deep and 860mm high in size. It is made with rippled ash wood. Katie used stainless steel for the metal supporting the weight of the chair and you can sense her love of perfection with the clean curves and sanded edges. This chair is sold for many prices but is usually for sale at about $9,000.
