Conclusions

  • Interest and participation are dependent on news and awareness of influenza; They decrease when flu wanes and increase when flu makes the news or there is a known death associated with flu
  • Participants need to be reminded to participate weekly
  • We need to continue recruiting and encouraging weekly participation
