I would recommend this book to any kid that likes mystery books, solving problems and clues. I like this book because it is a mystery book that tells about this man keeping these animals trapped inside his hotel. Then later on the animals disappear the hotel. Then Harold and Chester find out whats going on in this four-star hotel.
Harold and Chester were on a vacation, at Chateau Bow-Wow not a normal hotel. It was Harold and Chester's first time there, silence is pierced by a peculiar wake-up place that should be called the Howliday Inn. There are mysterious cries in the night and Chester and Harold are scared. Later on animals that were in the house start to disappearing, there are whispers of murder lurking inside the hotel. The falling actions tells of Harold helps out all the animals with Chester. They both find away to distract Dr. Greenbriar so they can help out all the other animals. At the end of the story all the animals are free and had escape but the Dr. is still there...
