During our school years, we experience many different forms of physical activity. It can include soccer, tennis and dance. All these sports need fundamental skills such as balance and coordination. It is important to participate in a variety of sports so you can learn different skills.
Many schools develop physical activities that help build on our skills and is also used as enjoyment. If these outcomes are not fulfilled then one could find themself in an unhealthy lifestyle. Whilst there is a wide range of activities to experience, it may not be possible to do them all. There may be an opportunity to participate in aerobics at school but it is highly unlikely that you could participate in skiing. Although such sports like skiing can be aimed for in the future.

However, being in a competitive activity will be stressful and frustrating at times. But as a player, you must control it, because inappropriate conduct will cause further problems. It's important to remember that this is an activity of enjoyment.
Activities such as yoga or skateboarding are non competitive. Alhough there are other activities that can be placed either as competitive or non competitive. Examples are cycling, surfing or table tennis. These sports can either be played for enjoyment or in a competitive manner. It really depends on one's 'Rule of Engagement'
