What is a SUDS scale?

What is Distress?

  • great pain, anxiety, or sorrow
  • physical or mental suffering
  • difficulty, discomfort
  • trouble, danger, hardship

Subjective Units of Distress

Anger - frustration, "it's not fair"

Sadness - grief, loneliness, loss

Fear - anxiety, nervousness
