Blackjacks (2NE1 fans) have been on their toes looking for an official date for 2NE1's American debut album. Lots of questions have arised about their American sound and what -if any- American artists will be working with them. Although Will.I.Am has not revealed whether any artists will be featured on the album, we here at SLS took the liberty of coming up with a few artists that we think would do well working with the amazing quartet.

Our first round pick is Young Money artist Nicki Minaj. The self proclaimed Harajuku Barbie is one of the most sought after artists today. She's been featured on hit songs with artists such as Rihanna, Drake, and Will.i.am. Nicki will bring her hilarious antics, witty flow, and multiple personalities to any song and make it an instant hit. Not only that, but the Grammy winning artist can also rap and sing, meaning that she can spit verses with CL and Minji or croon out a nice melody with Dara and Bom. 2NE1 could definitively benefit from the added exposure that being introduced to Barbies (Nicki Minaj fans) can bring. Look for crazy videos with even crazier hair and lots of crazy costumes if these forces ever combine.

Chris Brown

Latin fans of 2NE1 have pleading to get 2NE1 to their country. Who else can bring a fusion of the two cultures than by collaborating with one of the hottest latin rappers? Pitbull is known for his racy club songs and will make a great dance number with the girls. Can't you just hear them making a spicy dance mix with Korean and Spanish adlibs? If these two forces team up, you can expect a fiery dance track in the likes of "Fire" or Pitbull's "Tonight".

Let's face it: 2NE1 isn't new to autotune. Heck, most of the songs from their first two mini albums seemed to be filled with it. So who else would be better to collaborate with the girls other than T-Pain, the King of Autotune? Be assured T-Pain would welcome a chance to cross over into other genres as evidence with his latest single with Lilly Alan. You can expect fun hip hop hits with beats in the likes of "Follow Me" and "Don't Stop the Music".

Since he recently agreed to work with YGentertaiment artists, it's safe to say that Ludacris will most likely work with 2NE1 in the near future. The Southern rapper has worked with a variety of artists including Usher, Mary J. Blidge, and even Justin Bieber. Ludacris is not only known for his booty shaking anthems and angry songs, but has proved that he can be serious with the release of "Runaway Love". If Ludacris works with 2NE1, you can expect CL and Luda to create a fierce track in the likes of "My Chic Bad" and "I am the Best". Park Bom could lend her big voice for other projects. Whatever they choose to do, believe it will be worth a listen.

Of course Shannah influenced this decision. Bruno Mars is known for his chart hitting love ballads and tales of catching grenades. 2NE1 scored big with their hits "Lonely" and "It Hurts". So wouldn't it make since that the two forces collaborate on a love song? Bruno could make some amazing songs for 2NE1 and with his hit making talent, it could easily land a place on the Billboard top 100. Besides, who wouldn't want to see Bruno perform a duet with Dara? Expect songs in the likes of "Grenade" and " Stay Together".

Kanye West is definetly a favorite among hiphop lovers, and getting him to collaborate with 2NE1 could really help with getting the group's name out into the music scene.West has already done work with Korean boy band JYJ, so he may be open to working with another Korean group. Kanye and CL will bond over their love for fashion and swagger. Expect a song with a nice beat, 'Ye to drop some witty lines, and lots of name dropping of the best designers in the making.

It's been quite while since we've heard this name, but yes she is still a relevant factor to music *The half African-American half Korean artist has already worked with Korean girl group 4Minute and has announced that she'll be working with Seoul's King and Queen of hiphop T-Tasha and Drunken Tiger in her upcoming music projects. To help promote herself to new Korean fans, she'll be happy to add another high profiled Korean group to her resume. To change things up from her last Korean project, the ladies will most likely work on a slow mix.Think of the collaborations such as T-ara and Davichi's latest project as a guide.

*at least to Teddy

This one is a long shot, but all things are possible is this crazy world. Gaga's got millions of fans and working with her will boost any artist's reputation. The eccentric pop diva will love to trade clothes with 2NE1 -although I'm sure Bom will pass on the meat dress- and she is known for making great dance muic something 2NE1 knows about. To those who say that this is an odd combination, remember Mother Monster has also collaborated with Wale, Akon, and Beyonce during her career. You can expect something high and upbeat in the likes of "Telephone" and "Born This Way". Don't be surprised if Gaga jumps on an English version of "Ugly" and adds in her own message of self love and respect.

How do you think we did? Know an artist you think 2NE1 would work great with? Let us know in the comments!

Lady GaGa

NICKI MINAJ

AMERIE

The R&B star has been on the grind rebuilding his super star status and now it's nearly impossible to listen to the radio without hearing his voice flowing through the stereo. 2NE1 has proven they are fans of his music and have done many covers of his early work. If these guys work together, you can most likely expect a love song in the feel of "Superhuman" or maybe a chart topper song filled with confidence in the likes of "Look at Me Now" or "Can't Nobody". Wouldn't it be great to see them do an American version of "Pretty Boy" with Chris brown, or maybe even an English version of GD and Dara's "Hello"? You can also expect a dance battle between Minzy and Chris Brown popping up on the internet soon after- that is if they ever meet.
