My name is Ashlyn. I enjoy playing soccer, riding horses, and just hanging out with my friends. Speaking of friends, my best friends are Bekah Dominick and our dog Porter, which is kinda sad my dog's my best friend. My favorite color is light blue and my favorite animals are horses and platypus. I really dislike rice, although I'm not sure why. I also dislike cinnamon and presenting in front of people. After I graduate high school I want to go to a good college and learn how to become a marine biologist.

I live in Prosperity, South Carolina. I have lived here since I was around three years old. Our family is all Christians and we go to church every Sunday unless my dad doesn't want to get up. I think my parents are pretty much equal when it comes to who's in charge. Every summer around the 4th of July our dad's side of the family goes to Edisto beach. I have one brother, two dogs, a cat, and a horse.
Two major turning points in my life so far are, having to put down our first dog, Chester, and being in English 1 Honors. We had to put Chester down on December 31st, 2015. The impact on our family from Chester dying was pretty hard since he had been our very first dog everyone was upset about it. I learned from the death of Chester that there's a good ending to almost every story. What I mean by that is, Chester had cancer so putting him down took his pain and suffering away.I've been in honors ELA since 5th grade. The impact on me from being in English 1 Honors is a good impact. Being in English 1 Honors makes me work harder and pay more attention in class. I learned from this that you can't just expect to get everything handed to you, you have to work for it.
