Ancient Greek gods Relationships With each other

Zeus

Zeus is the son of Kronos and Rheia, and although he wasn't a very faithful husband, is married to Hera. He is the brother of Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera and Demeter. Zeus is the youngest of his five brothers and sisters, but he was the only one who was not swallowed by his father Kronos at birth. When Zeus was old enough to fight Kronos, he poisoned his drink, causing Kronos to vomit up his five kids, and they all then turned on him and defeated him. Zeus was then crowned as the king of all gods.

Artemis

Artemis, the virgin goddess of the hunt, is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and had one brother, her twin Apollo. She has no spouse or children, and runs with her maidens in the forest.

Hestia

Hestia, the goddess of the home and hearth, is the daughter of the Titans Rheia and Kronos, and sister to Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera, and Hades. She was a potential lover to Poseidon at one time but chose to remain a virgin.

Hermes

Hermes, the tricky god of the trade, was a player. He fathered many children with many women. He is the son of Zeus and Maia, and has no brothers or sisters.

Aphrodite

Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty is the wife of Haphaestus, although she secretly loved Ares, and was having an affair with him. She had many kids, and according to myth, gave birth to cupid!

Apollo

Apollo, the god of the sun and music, is the son of Zeus and Leto, and is the twin brother of Artemis. He was closely related with the forest, probablybecause his sister was Artemis, and his special bird was the raven.

Haphaestus

Hephaestus, the god of Metallurgy, is the son of Zeus and Hera, was married to Aphrodite and had 4 children with her, including Eros.

Demeter

Demeter, the goddess of the harvest, is Zeus' brother, and was also born of Kronos and Rheia. Her siblings are Hades, Hestia, Hera, Zeus and Poseidon. Demeter was always depressed, and lived her life searching for her one daughter, Persephone.

Ares

Hera, the goddess of the family, is Zeus' wife and sister, and is the daughter of Kronos and Rheia. Her husband Zeus was a player, and she often got very jealous of his affairs.

Poseidon, the god of the seas, is the brother of Zeus, Demeter, Hera, Hestia and Hades, and was born from Kronos and Rheia. Poseidon was married to Amphitrite, and the couple had three children. His main weapon is the trident.

Ares, the fierce god of war, is the son of Zeus and Hera, and was brother to Haphaestus. Ares had a very bad temper and often disobeyed Zeus, interfering with human wars such as the trojan war.

Dionysus

Dionysus, the god of wine and partying, is the son of Zeus and Semele. He is the only god to have a mortal parent, and he doesn't have any brothers or sisters.

Athena

Hades

Athena, goddess of wisdom and arts, is Zeus' daughter, but not Hera's. She is the product of Mites and Zeus, and was actually born out of Zeus' head.

Hades, the god of the underworld, is the son of Kronos and Rheia, and was married to Persephone. He was the brother of Zeus, Hestia, Hera, Poseidon and Demeter. Hades had a dog with three heads named Cerberus.
