Memory Moment

I believe that the most important memory moment is when Bod remembers that Scarlett used to wear a bright red orange coat when she visited Bod. This plays into Foreshadowing because it hints that Scarlett will be very helpful in the future.

I can't say I can relate to this part of the story unfortunately.

Words of the Wiser

I believe the most important words of the wiser is when The Lady on the Grey tells the residents of the graveyard "The dead should have charity."(Pg.30). This plays a crucial part of the theme because had The Lady on the Grey not told the graveyard folks this, there would be no lesson taught. I can say that I can relate to being given advice on a tough situation. It was when me and one of my best friends were in a fight and my mother told something that most definitely ended the friendship.

Tough Questions

Again & Again

I believe the most important Again & Again is when Bod is trapped in a closet in the back of Abanazer's store and he has no way of escaping (Pg.124). This plays into the conflict because not only is Abanazer after the treasure that Bod found but Abanazer also wants more money and is thinking about calling the man Jack. This also foreshadows that eventually Bod will meet the man Jack face to face.

I can say I have repetitively done something over and

over again but it is highly unimportant and highly

irrelevant.

I believe the most important tough question is when Mr. Owens has to decide whether he will be the father to Bod (Pg.16). This plays into conflict because as of right now if Mr. Owens doesn't accept to father Bod the man Jack will come and kill Bod. However it is a good thing that Mr. Owens does choose to father Bod and gives him the Freedom of the Graveyard.

I can say that I have had to make important decisions that were tough to decide however it is to personal for me to share.

Contrasts & Contradictions

We only found one important Contrast & Contradiction and that is when Abanazer suddenly goes from a sour mood to a sweet and kind mood (Pg.122). This fore-shadow's that whatever Bod said or did sparked something inside of Abanazer and hints that something bad is about to happen.

This is important because not only is Bod in danger but he is also unable to escape the danger and if he doesn't get out soon he will die because Abanazer and his accomplice were thinking about calling the man Jack.

I can say that I have most definitely acted out of character. For example, my friend had lied to me and rather then me being nice and saying I forgave her I took my revenge and started pulling pranks on her that ended up getting carried away.

Aha Moment

I think that the most important Aha Moment is when Bod realizes that his companions are Ghouls (Pg.81). This plays importance to the Conflict and the Theme because of the fact that when Bod figures out they are ghouls, it hints that a lot of bad things seek to hurt him. It than relates to theme because the theme of the story is supernatural.

This is important to the story because now, if Bod doesn't act quickly he will become a ghoul or if he decides to fight against becoming a ghoul, continue to live on in the real world.

I can't say I have a connection to this part of the story because of the fact that I have never met a ghoul and I hope I never, ever meet a ghoul.
