Other than Anne's career she was engaged to actor, Adam Shulman, in 2011 & married him in September 2012. After their marriage Hathaway allegedly was struggling with fertility issues. The couple envisioned adopting. Eventually Anne spoke about how she was soon to be a mother. She celebrated the pending arrival of her first child during a March 5th baby shower. By Thursday, March 24, 2016, in Los Angeles, her son, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman was born.

In 2006, Hathaway found triumph with the film, The Devil Wears Prada. By 2007, she starred in Becoming Jane, a film about Jane Austen. She acted in many movies including 2010's Love and Other Drugs, 2012's Dark Knight Rises & Les Miserable.

Anne has contributed entertainment to the film industry. She drives the success of movies with her acting. She is also an inspirational actress to members of her audience.

In 1999 Hathaway got her first big break on the short lived television series Get Real. After the series ended, she got the role that made her famous, playing Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries. The film scored big with audiences earning approximately $108 million. Hathaway earned another Teen Choice Award nomination for her work on the film. She returned to the role for the 2004 sequel, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. That same year she played the title character in Ella Enchanted.

As a teenager, Hathaway began appearing in a few commercials. In addition to this she also was able to study the acting craft. She became the first teen ever admitted to the New York City-based Barrow Groups prestigious acting program.

As she studied acting at the Paper Mill playhouse in New Jersey, she was introduced to several stage productions while attending middle school. also interested in singing, she was a member of All Eastern US High School Honor Chorus.

Hathaway completed her high school education and graduated from New Jersey Millburn High School with the highest honors. She wasn't particularly popular, but was active in sports, academics, and other activities in addition to acting. As soon as she graduated, Hathaway began working as an actress.
