How is a non- believers beliefs different to Islamic beliefs?

Some non-believers think and believe that when they die they get buried and them and their soul stays in the grave and life carries on forever and ever.
However in Islam they believe there will be judgement day, hell and heaven someday. However they do not know when.
How is another religions beliefs similar?
Christians believe that all of the good people in Earth or people who have helped Earth will go to Heaven however the sinned and really bad person will be punished in Hell.
In Islam they also believe that everyone who did good will go to heaven however who ever has lived the life of sins and hasn't apologized to God (the all forgiving ) then they will be punished in Hell.
How does the afterlife affect how they believe?
Muslims follow all the teachings from God and Prophets to make sure they get into heaven which makes it an affect on afterlife. They get these teachings from afterlife which shows that to help to get into heaven is to read the Qua'ran with respect and try to understand what it is telling us.
We should also pray to God and also ask for forgiveness if we think or know we have done something wrong because then a sin is taken away which makes it easier to get to heaven.
Why is afterlife seen as important?
Afterlife for muslims is important because we are standing in front of God and we all (muslims) should believe we have been good in Earth therefore we will be praised by Allah and our parents.
It is also important because we will see if we are going heaven and hell and we hope for heaven.
The keys about afterlife
For muslims the afterlife is very important because it starts by getting judged by Allah (god). He shows us how we lived and what was good and what was bad.
Another key point is that life will end first when God tells an angel called Israfil to blow a trumpet and then every living thing will die and he will blow it again and then everything will be destroyed.
Lastly we will be taking our steps to heaven or hell which is where we will be in our afterlife.
