How To Do A Round-off Back Handspring Back Tuck
Step 5
"Final Product"
- Finally, after you have all these 3 parts down you are ready to put them all together
- You can break it up before going into the next by taking just a smidgen of a pause
- How you connect these once to feel comfortable is
- Getting a running start for the round off
- Make sure you have a rebound after the round off to throw yourself back into your back handspring
- Once you do your back handspring you want to get a high rebound as well so you can do your back tuck
- Use your rebound from the back handspring to do a tuck and properly land on your feet
Step 4
"The Back Tuck"
- Practice jumping straight up in the air with your fists high over your head
- Once you have that down you want to practice pulling your body up to a tuck by wrapping your arms from your head to around your knees when jumping straight into the air
- After you understand and have practice this you want to start trying a tuck
- When jumping straight into the air bring your knees jump to your body while throwing yourself backwards
- You do not want to tuck until you have sprung yourself up above and over your head
- After doing the tuck you want to bring your feet back out straight so you can ensure landing feet first
