How to transfer , continued

Remove printed image. You should have a decent pattern to follow

Tape image face up on top of watercolor paper

Trace around entire image with pen or pencil

How to transfer from printed image

Printed image

Color back of image with heavy layer of pencil lead

Painting image

Flip over and hold to light

to see what area image fills,

draw guidelines.

Use scrap paper to get ink flowing in pen. Squeeze lightly and dab brush on paper

Erase pencil lines when done.

Start to paint in image. Turn paper to make it easier when needed.

Note! Do NOT do this directly over artwork unless painting in large black area!

1. Copy or draw design

2. Paint drawing with india ink pens

3. Paint background with watercolors
