integers

If you have a negative number and a positive number, subtract one from the other and take the sign of the bigger number.

Integers can be represented on a timeline.

Every number is an integer, even the number 0. An integer can be positive(+) or negative(-).

The absolute value of an integer will always be positive.

Every positive integer has a corresponding negative integer.

A negative integer plus it's positive will be 0.

Adding a negative integer is like subtracting a positive integer.

If you multiply two positive integers, the result will be positive.

If you multiply a positive integer with a negative integer, the result will be negative.

If you multiply or divide two negative integers, the result will be positive because the two negatives cancel each other out.

An integer cannot be a decimal nor a fraction. An integer will always be a whole number.

If you have two of the same signs, add and keep the sign.
