RIC shall deploy on a proactive approach with the following considerations
- Check with IC to confirm which crews are on scene and there assignment/location
- Confirm radio channels
- Determine location of RIC equipment staging and inform command
- Conduct a size up of the structure with crew
- Assign roles: LAS bag, TIC, Irons, RIC pack
- Soften Structure
